Here is another example of a Teaser Trailer. As you can see they can be more than a couple of seconds, this one lasts for one minuet forty-three seconds. This is good for me, as I wanted to d something that lasted more that say forty seconds.

Maybe they can get away with it being this length because the Toy Story franchise is so well established? I don't know how many original films might do this, because of budgets and stuff? I dunno, just a thought
ReplyDeleteYeah that’s a good point. On the other hand, if its not well established then you might need a longer one. The dark knight teaser was very short and Batman was a very established character. I could set my film up as if it was going to be part of a already established film franchise too.
ReplyDeleteYou could indeed Ron. Other than the length is there anything else about this which interests you? Anything from about 30 secs to a minute and half or so is fine. The Batman 'brand' is an interesting example. Don't forget you have your other promotional material to help market your new film, whether it's an established film or not.
ReplyDeleteRon, wish everyone else was taking advantage of the extended holiday!
Don't forget your AS work, I'll need to have that asap.
